Welcome!
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck. Seeking support is a courageous step, and I strive to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and working toward meaningful change.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, helping clients navigate life's challenges while building on their existing strengths. My approach is collaborative and individualized because I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each person's unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent more than 14 years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, helping individuals overcome barriers and create fulfilling lives. That experience continues to influence my practical, strengths-based approach to counseling.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in North Dakota, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Minnesota, and an approved clinical supervisor in North Dakota. I have specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
My areas of focus include anxiety and mood disorders, as well as trauma and behavioral concerns. Whether you are facing a difficult life transition, working through past experiences, or looking to develop healthier coping skills, I am committed to helping you move toward greater healing, resilience, and well-being.
I believe that lasting change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work toward the life they want to create.
